Heading to Lake's Volvo for parts in an hour. Need anything?

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

Heading to Lake's Volvo for parts in an hour. Need anything?

It is unlikely anyone will read this on the next hour. If no replies, I will post up the current dead 480's that they have there.

(Only going as I lost the bowden cable clip for the heater down the dashboard so can't select full cold and it's -2 deg. C when I go to work. Tried manning up but it didn't work!).

I'd like a pop-up relay and the little plastic cover at the base of the rear wiper - neither are urgent so don't worry if none are readily available, but I've had problems with and/or lost both in the past and I've run out of spares.

Either way, I'll be interested to hear what cars they have at the moment for future reference, particularly now that GJ's shed is no longer the go-to source for parts!

On the hunt now. Is it the tall pop up relay in the triangular box? Believe it or now in 15 years i've never had pop up trouble! Got relay! Working on wiper cover now.

That's the one - double height as it contains a separate relay for each side.
This should be it:

Yup, that's the one!

All cars in the yard pretty fucked now. There is a white S model outside which may have the wiper bit on.

Okay mate, I've got your pop-up relay here. No luck on the wiper cover. All of the available cars were pretty mashed up. The white one outside is to be sold on, not for parts.

Maroon Celebration -- easy to access, lots gone
Silver turbo -- piled one high, a bit crushed (ES likewise next to it)
Red 89ES -- piled one high, a bit crushed
Two more ES's maybe. Fairly well stripped and interiors knackered by now.

They say 480's are hard to come by nowadays, and I think what they have in, they've had for over a year. Nice guys as usual, I quite enjoy going there.

Jaster, if you want this relay I'll send it for £5 to you. I gave him £5 for clip and your relay.
