Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

Thanks for the offer, but I can find them here, Orlando (the Volvo 480 parts guy, not the city in Fla. USA) lives approx. 20 minutes driving from where I live.
Nevertheless, if GJ is throwing away everything he has left, it would be nice if I could re-use some of that.

Hi Jim
I am also looking for a piece of the dashboard as all the fixings are snapped on mine. The piece I need is the first bit you unscrew to start removing the dash. Do you have one?
Thanks Trevor

Hi Jim.
Im desperate for a radiator for my manual turbo. Its 1992. The whole unit would be great if possible. Radiator, temp switch and fan.

White wolf
have checked and one of the spare radiators I have left is the very long narrow one which I think is the one used in turbos . I should have the sensor connected if not I have a spare sensor anyway. If the fans are the same across the whole range of 480's then I also have a spare fan.
will need to photograph tomorrow so you can be sure it is what you need.

Thats great news. It is the long radiator. it fills the gap between the lights nicely. The one on my es is about 1/2 - 2/3 the size.
The only difference between my turbo and es is that the turbo had a 3 wire plug to sensor rathet than the 2 on the es.
Much appreciated for all your help.
Regards
Jay

I couldnt edit previous post..
I meant the only difference in wiring was to the actual fan. The turbo has a 3 wire plug and the es has a 2 wire plug. The fans themselves are interchangeable at least on my es and my turbo..
Regards again

Jim did you get my message? If you still have the seatbelt arm (without the roller) and the springs for the seatbelt arms I would be very grateful.
Robert.

Hello Jim,
I have a list of wanted parts for you when you get a moment.
Heat sheild between exhaust and fuel tank, i think there are two there and I am looking for both.
Old type wing mirror glass both sides, the convex type please.
Orange rear reflectors, with thier seals if you can.
The green and grey connectors from behind the insrusment panel, maybe with some wiring so I could marry up the colours.
Rear washer jet and the seal please.
The oil sepeator from a 2.0 car
The plastic cover at the end of the handbrake lever
Think that is it, if you could help, I would appriciate it.
Kind Rergards,
Stephen

My experience is that, although the colours of the connectors are the same, the colours of the wiring are different throughout the model years
But, if you need anything to know about the instrument panel, I'll be most happy to share my knowledge with you!
I have also lots of scrap boards or even complete clusters (cheers to Jim!) to play with, but postage may be hefty as I am in The Netherlands.
Just tell me what you need and it will make my wife VERY happy as that actually means stuff leaving the house instead of me hoarding it
Robert.

Well, some of the pins within the connectors are not making good contact. So I actually only need the pins from the connectors. Are you able to help with this, do you have any available?
Kind Regards,
Stephen
