GJ's ultimate clearout of spares for sale

As I have given up 480 ownership completely I have seriously depleted the shed of once maximum density and have a skip arranged for Friday so second last chance to pick up a bargain.
All gone

I'll take a pair of seatbelt arms, a popup relay and a pair of DRL bulb holders, if you have them.
Will the remainder of the stuff be dumped at some point if no-one takes it? Seems a shame if so as the community will lose a very valuable resource for spare parts. My suspicion is that the vast majority of people only buy spares when they need them, rather than on the off-chance that they might need them in the future.
In an ideal world we would find someone with a van and some storage space willing to take over as our resident spares stockist. I would be willing to donate some space, but unfortunately Glasgow and Oxford are not exactly round the corner from each other!

My wife is very much into
KonMari at the moment, so there's not a snowball's chance in hell for me building up more spares in the attic or in the garden shed
Nevertheless, I could do with a pair of seatbelt arms as the Paris Blue 480 I recently aquired hasn't got any. Not even a broken end, they are completely absent, both driver's and passenger's side! I would be grateful if you have the accompanying spring also.
Another strange request: do you have wiper arms? The wipers that are on the Paris Blue are holding on to the arm with duct tape.
Also, should you have electronics from an "480 S" instrument cluster, I mean the little board that sits where you would find the infocentre computer with the other 480's and controls the fuel and temp gauges, I am very much interested. I am currently repairing Martin Mc's instrument cluster and the problem seems to be in that little control board...
Send me the total price including shipment and I will send you the amount through PayPal like the previous shipment. (of which the speedometer already will be donated to Martin's instrument cluster since that one was dead as well)

Jaster
Joe swanborough had already pm'ed me about the seat belt arms so he gets the first pair .
However when I went to look at the seat belt arms I had left I discovered that I only had 2 drivers sides and the second drivers side was missing the end roller.
So the best I can do is offer you the complete drivers side at £8 ( arm , hanger and the roller )
Robert
I have the drivers side arm and hanger without the roller can supply that plus 2 springs for £5 if that is any good. Sorry dont have the part for the instrument panel you are looking for. Will check tomorrow for 2 wiper arms.
Joe
you have 2 pms

Funny, I just realised that driver's and passenger's side are reversed in your part of the world.

Hi Jaster
I have just got my first 480 and live halfway between Reading and Oxford, so it may be worth keeping in touch.

Wow, not been on for a while as my 480 went a while ago.
Jim, giving up 480 ownership... Has hell frozen over?!
Sad times

Jim - I'll take the remaining arm if that's still there, plus the other bits I mentioned. Let me know total + P&P by PM and I'll PayPal it over.
Trevor - I'll make a note of your username. I used to see a couple of cars in the Oxfordshire area semi-regularly until about 5 or 6 years ago (although I didn't know the owners), but none recently. Worth keeping in touch with locals to swap tips on friendly garages / spares etc. I'll keep an eye out for you if I'm in your area!

Oh never mind... I forgot about the fact that wiper arms are different for LHD and RHD cars.
I just checked with the parts book, the left hand side wiper arm is the same, but the right hand side wiper arm is different and that is the one currently held together with duct tape. Even the wiper motors (so not just the frame and rods) are different between LHD and RHD. Sorry.

Hi Jim,
Please can I have a RHD clutch cable (or two if poss) for a 1994 2.0 please and a battery strap? Also thinking about engine mounts -
I get a bit of vibration at 1800-2000rpm which clears as speed progresses. What do you think? Could be mounts? Could be engine worn? I might want 2 of your mounts anyway!
New to 480 so please go easy on me!
Cheers
Andrew
