Regretfully breaking 480 turbo auto

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

i'm in ABZ so can you maybe weigh it and I'll see what postage cost would be. . . . . it's not heavy just bulky for GPO

I was thinking of the sticky vinyl repair method, as it would save taking dash apart (again)

have you still got BOTH snow mats? NB I could use it to catch the leak from teh heater matrix (I assume it is not available) although I might try and repair our one as car is off the road for at least next three months :-( and there is a spare that has been 'repaired' with silicon sealant :-)
Alan the cracking is in the usual place, top left - I tried taking a photo although my camera is crap...I'll post it up later on see what you make of it

Snow mats are a set of 4 fella. Should be no problem to post them to Aberdeen

//edit

found the (fuzzy) photos, as you can or rather can't see it's hard to see the crack although it is there

and limits for parcel sizes http://www.postoffice.co.uk/mail/uk-standard

if I can make the snow mats into a parcel less than 61cm long x 46cm wide x 46cm thick & less than 2kg it's only a fiver a go for 2nd class...not sure on the length of the largest mats though. The dash surround should be either 2.85 or a fiver depending on length (parcel needs to be under 450 mm long for the lower price)

heater matrix has gone unfortunately

Looks better than ours. !

have you scrapped the car?, if not do you still have the frame that the dash-surround fixes onto? most of the palstic fittings ./ screw holes are shot on ours so might worth doing the whole thing?

If it's any help I have the frame behind the dash surround on Nipper whom I am dismantling - not all screw holes are intact but most are; is it any good to you?

Surprisingly I'll probably owning a 400-series again shortly...so now only the following items are available until I work out what is good/not good on the new car

boot/fuel flap release lever cover
Dash surround in good condition with only hairline crack starting
Space saver spare wheel
Oil pressure/boost pressure/voltage gauge panel
Fog lights/rear screen heater switch panel
Door handle/speaker covers
side repeaters

not much left really, if no-one takes them say 3 weeks from now I'll be donating all parts to the local scrappy or similar
