Also, are the suspension bushes just for the rear end and are they still available?

yes, yes and yes.

I will let the alternator go for 45 pounds plus postage. It cost me 120 pounds recently. My car was 1.7 no turbo no air-conditioning but may fit others, i don't know.
gsa60 also asked me about the bushes

made by scan tech sweden.
I offered him 25 pounds posted.

I'll take the alternator please and, for now, pass on the bushes. Where are you in the country, I guess it'll need posted but I thought I'd ask incase I canpick it up easily.

It rings a bell that there are two types of alternator belt/pulleys-- the amount of grooves can vary, possibly 3 or 5. Can you check what you have, and I'll check what I need on my car.

they are air con and non aircon alternators each have a different number of grooves on the pulley so the best abd easiest way to distinguish is by air con or not.

thanks jim. ive told him mine has 6 grooves in the belt, hes going to look.

Thanks Svenska Axel, in the mean time, the garage called back and got a good price on alternator so I might as well get them to do it while they have it in. Gets the car back on the road quicker!
