Breaking Green 480 Turbo

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

this is a bit of a pitiful question but could I have the screws for the black pop up light housing, and the waterjet that cleans it?

Those screws are still in the headlights and im in negotiations with those atm, sorry.
Screws on the washers are rusty as hell, you dont want them. I think long wood screws would do just a good a job.

CAR IS BEING COLLECTED TUESDAY.

Sad to see a 480 go but to be fair it was advertised for some time on this thread, I've seen Sparky's 5 it's in good nick and owned a few myself also. I even have a Renault 5 sat in the garden and for about 10 mins considered a conversion from my parts car (OBS). But I decided not to for two reasons:

1. I'm older and fatter now, so would look silly sat in little car like a 5.
2. The 5 in the garden would need a lot of work to extract it from the plants growing around it, never mind to get it MOT'd!!

The Renault 11 on the other hand, that is a real mans car

....I may just be eating my words at the end of the year.........planning to take delivery of another Renault 5 haha but this one is a mark 1 so no chance of putting the B18FT engine in there - the layout is longitudinal rather than transverse

Well done Sparky for saving so many pieces btw

edit:

....due to the amount of tuning knowledge available out there I even considered putting the Renault C1J engine into a 480.......that is the 1.4 turbo engine fitted to the 5/11. It would mean I was in class B instead of T with the drag racing....but Robou spoiled all this by giving me about 250 Nm in the 1.7, meaning that any engine swap into Pollution would be of almost no benefit!! Something different to think about anyway :tomato:

Haha, cheers James.
Yeah i considered putting the 1.4 in the volvo just to keep it going, but that would have been pretty underpowered. Then i did think of getting an f7p and putting that in the volvo as any of the f type blocks would easily go in but decided not to as the girlfriend hates both the volvo and renault, so i just kept 1 for her

Youll have to start a thread somewhere on your renaults id like to see the mk1.

As of last month I'm on the RTOC forum with the same user name, so when I get the 5 it will appear on there! It's a fancy one with a cross-flow head ;)

Look here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sports_Car_International

No BMW E46 :bored: in that list, but there is a Zed in the 90's list and a 5 in the 80's

I like those 350ZX's....one of the few Japanese cars worth considering IMHO....along with the Skyline R33
