Hi Gasgow Jim
I'm looking for
A working clutch cable ( mine is really stiff)
A working light switch ( mine has to be manouvered to bring the info centre up )
The rubber pipe connecting air cleaner to inlet manifold. And
A passenger side working pop up headlight motor
Any ideas?

Re: Glasgowjim's spares list
Hi Ken will check out the clutch cables tomorrow.
I have the variable resistor that is located on the under side of the steering column. Will check if I have the rubber tubing you are looking for. I definitely don't have the pop up motor .

Re: Glasgowjim's spares list
Hi ken
your clutch cable is and early type part number 3459869 I only have the later type part number begins 370......
I believe the difference is in the length of the cable as the later one is slightly longer 1.5 cm but I could be wrong I remember having to measure clutch cables to find the correct one.
I suspect that the airpipe may be different as well but I will look out the ones I have and either locate the part number or photograph them for you.

Re: Glasgowjim's spares list
the popup motors are not sided (headlamps).
the fact that the sunroof only works in one direction is not because the motor is faulty but that the plastic connector rods are broken.
headlamp switch I have spare of this .
As long as the motor is actually working even in only one direction then it is the connector rods that are the problem and these are far easier and cheaper to fix than the motor. I have spares of the moonroof motor and the plastic connector rods but I am afraid I do not have any popup motors spare.
Can I suggest that tyou double check the moonroof as volvo calls it sun roof to everyone else. If the motor is ok the roof should go up but not down without being pushed down this is a classic broken connector.
Once you know what you need I can give you a price with postage for the lot rather than bits and pieces as it is cheaper that way. I check the forum usually at least once a day and with royal mail first class you can expect delivery within 48 hours unless you are in a flooded area down south.

Hi Jim,
Do you have a driver's side door pocket in good condition?
If so, how much including p&p please?
Cheers,
Nigel.

Re: Glasgowjim's spares list
check out first post in the thread have new additions to parts list.
Re: Glasgowjim's spares list
couple of parts needed.
I need the surround piece's for a post '92 Drivers side wing mirror.
paint is 305 Black (Base Version with Red Tint not option version with blue tint) but it doesn't really matter as I'll respray it.

There are always ample warnings and there are always subtle signs,
And you would have seen them coming but we gave you too much time.

Re: Glasgowjim's spares list
Slash it would need to be a whole mirror assembly as the plastics cant handle being removed without snapping somewhere . I know I have tried in the past
Have a complete mirror unit drivr side but not in black. the postage is quite expensive all in it would come to £24
