Availability of New Parts

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

I can see the metal of the rear bumper being a good thing for him to reproduce. I'm sure we all have rusty ones...

Hi cut and pasted from the email he sent me but his list is in the for sale post

Repair block window is the plastic part in the window motor that often breaks, you can use it if the steel wire is still ok
(with Dutch manual and 3 screws)

Speed cog wheel is apparently a cog that wears in the speedo

Tail-lights > Seals ? is what it is replacement remanufactured seals like the ones originally fitted when new to the rear lights
I have just received these and they look the business

Hi Jim, I know what you mean, but please bear in mind that my spoilers are way tougher then original Volvo ones, fitment is perfect, quality is so much better as earlier reproductions here and on other places....
We (my dad and I) have high quality standards.
- A class materials
- perfect fitment
- good quality general
- lasting...

Seen some copy's of front spoilers and snow caps and had to laugh....

Here are some pics :

I also have repro cog wheels and a solution for the broken plastic of the window motors.... and as you might have read, working on more parts....

I bought some seals from Joep, and the turn around was very quick indeed. Great person to deal with! If he was to reproduce some rear light clusters, he'd have a buyer right here!

Will think of the snow cap reproductions, but that means that I have to take my original snowcap apart...
The snowcap actually consists of 2 parts, wich are put together.

Thanks for the reply
What a shame  Maybe there is a marked for reproducing such items or maybe not, I suspect the reproduction price would be high.

Nice weekend to all :)

Please read the post, hopefully you are better at dutch than I'm :)

Chris the comments are sceptic about the company. For people who order a pair up front they are €180 a pair plus shipping. Later they would be sold for €220 to €240. Front order is without obligation though.

The guys write they are to expensive and probably won't be a perfect copy anyway. So they would have to make fit. One guy writes he had the right rear wheel arch of his '87 ES replaced with one of a 440 and that piece was only €25. It's said that you better invest your money in a good body repair shop.
He says that company is also selling rear lights for €380 each what is considered overpriced. The company apparently offers to buy your lights for €160 each.

Should you want to pre-order you have to register on the linked German forum. As said, pre-order is without obligation to actually take them once they are produced.

Any progress on this yet?? I'll need some new lights soon as I've removed the originals.

I'd like some new rears too without paying through the nose. I want some new front lenses too but not found any. Clear ones not the orange. I hope they reproduce!

I sent them an email yesterday asking if they were sorting something and all they responded with was that they are no longer available!

I hope to get the car back on the road soon but I have no rear lights, I'm not sure what I'm going to do! If I can't find any once I've sold my Golf I might just buy a different car again and hope someone make the clusters again!
