Now breaking a 1996 480 celebration.

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

Hi Jim,

Can I please request the front fog lights, the front indicator clusters right and left (if clear) and the rear cubby box that sits between the rear seats?

Thanks,

Dave

Hi, I am new here, having just bought my first 480 - a 1995 celebration in white,
Would you happen to have the passenger door exterior trim?
Ideally in white
Thank and best regards
James

Hi Jim
Another 480 new boy, still in Scotland, though, in Kinross. I need the plastic hinges for the off-side pop-up. I havent had time to investigate fully, so I dont know if they seperate, or I need a whole unit, but I'm sure you will! Many thanks,
Cheers
Iain

Yes, you are right, I bought her for £340, she went through her MOT at £80 (needed the OSR brake caliper adjusting and some lightbulbs and an oil change for safety) apart from that is insured and ready to go.....I fully intend to keep her on the road on a daily basis
Best regards
James

Hi Jim,
Thanks for that, I spent a while going through old posts, and think I found the part number in one of yours. I'll get onto the dealers next week.
Happy New Year

Is the 'switch' part of the ignition assembly still avail or has it gone to breakers?

The car has not spun over on one occassion, so might be switch or might be starter. I have hot wired the starter so remote starting from engine bay is possible but a new switch would keep SWAMBO happier!!

the ignition switch has 2 parts a simple plastic switch which can be turned with a screwdriver and the metal ignition lock barrell . I have both parts.

check which part you may need if you require some photos in order to check out which part you need I can pm them to you or pm instructions . I will not post up on open forum in case of thieves reading it.

I can also supply a complete lock set so that you dont need two sets of keys if required.

lock set comprises

ignition barrel 2 door lock barrels , rear boot lock barrel , and the front of the glove box (door)

get back to me

there is also a how to on removing ignition lock written by me in the how to section.

Hi Jim
I've got a Flame Red metallic Celebration, and I could do with a new bonnet. Is your breaker that colour? Ideally I would like one that didnt need painted, but beggars canna be choosers. Only in Kinross, so easily pop through to pick one up. Any help gratefully received.
Cheers
