Breaking 95' Celeb, lots of parts new & used
The sad day has finally arrived!! The reign of the 'precious' is over. Her car-cancer is terminal.
Lots of bits for sale, some new and boxed some nearly new and obviously, whatever original parts you require, just ask.
I want to give you guys first choice for obvious reasons. Whatever isn't sold in a fortnight is going on eBay.
Bear in mind that this car has only ever been driven occassionaly at weekends and has been off the road for the last 3months. And so to the list;-
Custom Stainless Exhaust, Lifetime Transferable Warranty Built for me Sept last year by 'LongLife', used for less than 6months. Mild sport, really quiet, stainless copy of the original. Lets the engine breathe nicely, slightly better fuel economy, 3-5 mpg more on average. Better throttle response too. £400 delivered
Heater Matrix brand new boxed cost me £160 from Volvo, who then refused to take it back because it was on special order from Sweden! sensible offers
Steering Gear brand new. £80 delivered
2x Rear Shocks used, fitted 3years ago. offers
4x Lesjofors 30mm Lowering Springs fitted 3years ago. offers
4x GT Alloys with Yokohama Parada Spec2 Tyres (fitted Sept last year cost £350) loads of tread on all 4, slight dent in one wheel, balances fine, odd scuff etc £250
Reconditioned B18es Intake from 86'plate (my first 'precious') bit of oxidation showing from storage conditions but should clean up fine. offers
Reconditioned B18es Fuel Rail offers
...and here's a couple for the connoisseurs;-
B18es non-cat Camshaft (I'll tidy it up before sale) £100 ovno picture is identification markings on the shaft
B18e/FT Race Tuned Cylinder Head 49mm inlet valves, standard exhausts. Only ever did 90miles of track time before the car was crashed, its virtually mint apart from a bit of surface corossion due to poor storage. £200 ono
"Update. I am in the Bedfordshire area, willing to travel to make delivery (within reason)"

Hi, do you still have the Instrument Cluster (PCB board) for sale, if so how much? Thank you Alan.
Re: Breaking 95' Celeb, lots of parts new & used
Hi
Could you tell me if the rear bumper includes the metal panel insert (which has corroded on mine) or is it just the plastic cover ?
I'm also interested in the clear front indicator/clusters + bulb holders and the front shocks.
Could you let me know (roughly) where you are in the country ?
Thanks
Rob

I will take the rear clusters if they are in nice condition? And I would also like to know where you are based?

Re: Breaking 95' Celeb, lots of parts new & used
Hi there,
I'm looking to replace effectively everything under the front bumper of my Celeb - in the hope that these items haven't already been snaffled, what kinda condition are the lights, grille etc in?
Many thanks
Roge1

The grille isn't too bad, its in one piece. Just a couple of fins cracked and I've refixed them with wire and glue, and I did fit an aluminium mesh behind the gaps in the fins.
The fog light lenses are both cracked.

eEm,
Looks pretty good (certainly better than mine), bit of a shame about the fog lights however! How much would you want for shipping the grille (minus foglights) to me (postcode AB41 7WF)?
Thanks again

Delivery shouldn't be more than about £9, I'll have to use alot of bubble wrap to keep it safe!

£25 including delivery sound reasonable?
Its been re lacquered, but I did use Halfraud's own brand.
I polished the chrome surround but the plastic bit with the badge in it is a bit crap.

Morning eEm,
£25 all in sounds fair (I'm not overly bothered about the emblem/slash part, as I've a spare from days gone by). Drop me a PM with your address, and I'll get a cheque to you asap. Shame you didn't have the chin spoiler as well, as I'm desperately trying to find one!!
Best regards
Roge1

I will take that plastic slash bit if Roge1 doesn't want it then as I have the badge to go in it but the chrome but on mine has perished beyond repair?
Is that OK with you Roge1?

Hi, just bought my first 480 and am loving it. I need the driving lamp switch which i think is on the same board as the heated seat switches, have you got one that is working??
Best regards
