FOR SALE: LAMBO DOOR HINGES

Selling my lambo door kit. As some of you already know, these were successfully fitted to a 480 project, which was due for big engine work, big turbo etc etc etc etc etc but the project stalled and eventually sat around too long and I lose the love. Anyway, none of that matters, the car is scrapped already, but I have the hinges for the lambo door converstion if anyone is interested in making an offer for them. They are welded to the backplate that I made for them to be fitted to the 480, so with a little prep work on your car, and the hinge plate, they will pretty much weld on any 480 in the same way I had them welded on. Some wing work will be required if you fit the kit exactly the way I did, although we did work out after that if we did it a slightly
different way, it could have been fitted so the original wings fit right back on too! Just plan your work more than we did!!! haha

Anyway, the kit can be seen being fitted to the project car back in the day, to show the kit really does work (and give hints about fitting) here:

PM me any offers for the kit - works perfectly, although the plate needs a bit of a wire brush and re-primering Still has my 480s hinge-ends on, so you can bolt your doors straight on (I deliberately kept it so the doors were bolted onto the kit instead of welding them on, as it means you can use the orignal hinges and bolts, and makes it a 5 second job to get the doors off if you need to do maintenence or change them)

Well it was a project for me, and a proof of concept - so if anyone else fancies a project to make a unique 480, then here's your chance - make an offer.

Not sold yet, mainly coz BT stiffed my phoneline about 5 days after posting, and it only got fixed again today!!!!

Still up for grabs, make me an offer as I have no use for them - kit was a £300 kit new!

Fitting is fiddly, but really not hard - will need at least 2 people to hold it whilst lining up and welding etc...
