Possibly for sale: subframe

I have come into the very sad position of having to sell my beloved 480. There are a few things wrong with it now and as a full car I'm not sure I would get much money for it, but I did have the subframe replaced in early 2008 (a brand new one at a rough cost of £1300, I truly love that car). I am now thinking that the frame alone is worth more than the car as a whole - would any one be interested in it?

I have no way of dismantling my poor car so if someone wanted the frame they'd get the car too. (car itself is taxed and MOT'd til September 2010, 94 M)

I've got a subframe in my front garden. It's been ready for a good home for over a year but still not had any interest in it. If your car is t and t for a few more months why not get it onto ebay and see what happens? Why do you have to get rid of it by the way??

Thanks gingerheed, I think I'm definitely just going to sell her has a whole car, the new subframe isn't proving very attractive to people.

Expense to be honest - I recently bought a house and now I can't afford anything any more. I can't afford the insurance. Or to fix ongoing issues. Or the fuel she uses. She needs someone with more money than I have to keep her going nicely. Its a shame as I love this car, but thems the breaks I guess.
