WANTED: Throttle potentiometer

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

pot

Hi I've got a complete throttle from an ES.

It's written 0 280 120 301 on it.

May it fit?

Thanks for the reply!
Hmm.... hard to tell. Do you have a picture of it? I'm trying to put one up of mine.

Important is the "dent" marked by the green arrow. Later models had a shorter throttle valve axis and a "flat" poti housing.
Thanks a lot for checking it :D

Hmm..... the whole throttle body looks kinda different.... are you sure, this came out of an 480 ES? The poti itself looks as if it would fit though.
I'll try to check, if it will fit.
Thanks for pics :D

Btw: The "050" is on every part! But next to the "BOSCH" there should be a number like: 0 280 *** *** (guess that's the one you posted first)

Hmm... seems that your throttle seems to be of a 480 ES without lambdasond / catalyser :? Means more BHP. I guess it would fit (well at least the poti) in mine though. Not experienced enough to be 100% sure. Can you PM me telling me a price you are thinking about? Where about are you located?

Best regards
Raff

thanks, but already got one of them, a fellow forum member "sold" it to me, but it seems to be for after 91' cars :( You can even see the difference by looking at the pics i posted :? And no, they are not interchangable as the throttle axe is much longer on the pre 91' cars
