auxilary gauges wanted/sorted now

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

Yes both work

6 pin means that you link the turbo gauge in-obviously if yours is an ES there is no turbo to give you readings. I ran my GT on turbo 6-pin gauges, it basically just means that there is a turbo reading dial which does nothing lol!

Whereas a 4 pin gauge just has the oil and battery dial and a blank with VOLVO on!

No, the turbo gauge wont move at all, because all non turbo 480s have a 4 pin connector in the dash which will link to both the 6- and 4-pin gauges-but obviously on the 6 pin guages, it will only link to the first 4 (which are the battery and oil). I am awful at explaining things, so I hope that makes sense...???

Esta is wrong the number of pins does NOT correspond with the number of guages , A four pin will have a common return wire . You can get a set of guages from a turbo which will have turbo / oil pressure and / voltage with 4 pins.

In fact Cerberus took out his analogue clock and replaced it with a voltage guage .

Thats wierd! I can only apologise @ ted clutch! I have only had one aux gauge with turbo and that one had 6 pins and my one without the turbo gauge had 4 pins, so I just assumed all turbo ones had 6 pins! My bad!

Can snap an edge off another dial then you can cut and file down o make virtually unnoticable. At that price its a bargain. ;)
