Breaking 2.0 litre GT

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

Breaking 2.0 litre GT

Post by jameselwood » Mon Jan 07, 2008 9:12 pm

I am currently breaking a 1993 Volvo 480 in Black with good half leather interior, ABS and airbag. All parts available. Some on eBay:
Alternator
CEM III
Fuel Rail and Injectors
Inlet Duct
Headlight
Power Steering Pump
Radio VC802
Starter
more are here with pictures.

All parts are available I've just not taken them all off yet.
Please check my other posts in this forum they should confirm I'm an enthusiast and a trusted seller. I'm in Birmingham.
I will post to Europe (not bumpers or engines)

rear-wiper motor - £12
boot/filler cap release (assuming it's not broken at all) - if this housing is next to the driver's seat then it's been repaired well with some plasic hose - you might be able to do the same.
driver's side seat belt arm - I think Volvo still sell these for under £10
the metal bracket that holds the clutch cable/brake pipe clear of the rear of the 2.0 litre manifold - Sorry I don't hink I kept one of these.

Update
The car I was breaking is now gone and all the useful parts have been removed. I have a shed load (literally) of parts all pictured here.

Now up for Auction on eBay:

Accelerator Cable
Injectors and Fuel regulator
Starter Motor
Alternator 70A
Crank Sensor
Coil and Suppressor
Moonroof / Sunroof
Front Brake Calipers
Central Brake Light
Central Locking Solenoid
LH Fog Light
Front Speakers and grilles - pair
Front Wings - pair
Number Plate Lights - pair
RH Fog Light

I could deliver the bigger items - wings, bumpers etc if you're close to Birmingham or on my monthly route to Yorkshire and Wales.
I would prefer to avoid eBay fees and can deal using paypal giving the same buyer protection.

Hi there

Noticed you live in Brum

And are breaking a 2.0!!

Is it ABS?

Do you have a hydroulic unit? And most importantly, was the ABS and ABS light working before you took it all to pieces?

Cheers, Esta ;)

There are two small plastic parts on each popup which allows the popup to hinge up and down. Easily broken when you lean on them! BTW the covers are metal!

just fitted an offside window mechanism bought from james (many thanks!) and it runs like a dream. puts the passenger side to shame...

i'm now considering taking the nearside mech out just to lubricate it.
