Jeez been a long time since i've posted on the forum due to having sold my 480 quite a few years ago to go back to playing with 740's and 940's.

I recently bought a box of New Old stock volvo parts as it had some rare parts for my 740 in it. They wouldnt sell separtaltey so I had to buy the job lot, so after some sorting found these 480/ 400 series parts which i dont require.

Guys,

can anyone tell me if engine mounts for a 1995 Volvo 440 S Auto B20F are adjustable?

We got 2 x engine mounts from Sweden, both with the following part nos: (3448414 (MB / SILBER) ; 3464177 (HK) ; 3433113 (LB) ; 3417259 (KB) ).

We're having trouble installing the front-right one...the stud seems to be too short and we can't get the nut on it. One stud is 35mm and the other stud on the casting end is 22mm.

I was wondering if the stud coming from the casting end of the mount might be screw adjustable? We've tried to twist it using multi-grips but to no avail.

Sounds more like the wrong part to me; That first part number cross references to a manual mount.

They're not adjustable.

I would point you towards the nearest church to pray. Seriously, Joep might be able to help or the volvo 480 and volvo 480 UK facebook groups. Then check Ebay EVERYDAY, won't be cheap since you want the clear ones

If it's just the daylight running lense, then Joep can supply new ones.
If it's a complete unit, you're going to have to resort to begging, possible organ donation or just blind luck.

You'd probably benefit from a new thread rather than tagging on to an old one too. And whilst your at it, why not do an introduction one so people on here can get to know you?

But after more detailed examination looks like i need only outside covering plastic part of the right front indicator (sorry i am not very familiar with right technical term) i suppose that this is daylight running lense.

The square one is the Day Running Light and can be easily found.

The Holly Trinity that is Forum, Facebook, Ebay will sort things out for you. Given time I always ALWAYS find what I need (or want)
