Anyone got a de-cat pipe for a turbo for sale?

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

Looking for a de-cat pipe with lambda mount for a 94' Turbo or suggestions of good exhausts places near Sheffield (Ascar have quoted £90 fitted)?

Cheers

Well, my first decat pipe came from Powerflow distributors, Alpha tyrs in leeds and I think it was 60 quid to make - so based on that, if you're desperate, try the Powerflow distributor in sheffield... not that I'm recommending PF in any way

Now you mentioned Ascar, that reminds me I need to book in with them to get my CAT modified to fit my new system before my MOT in Nov...

Hi Gaz,

Cheers for the info. Was that £60 fitted or just for the pipe? I think ascar were about the same £68 + £22 fitting something like that but im probably going to fit it myself if the bolts aren't too seized. Just got a 94 Turbo and want to get the cat off it as soon as poss. (apart from the MOT of course!!)Aside from the power I just don't want to have to shell out for a new one at some stage!!

Cheers

John

Yeah fitting would probably have been more, making them similar prices. ASCAR do a grand job, and I'd use them again, unlike PF... remember that when you change the cat and pipe over that you will probbaly need to buy the pressure-fit gasket for the downpipe end of the connection, and a tube of universal blue gasket paste for the tailpipe end (don't use the gunge gasket type product on the downpipe end as the fumes can aparently damage the catalyst)

Hi Gaz,

Ascar it will probably be then unless someone knows of a really cheap place (....mmm dodgy). They did do a great job on my mates twin pipe for his Mini and when it came loose tightened it all up for free....which of course they should have done but it's nice they didn't moan about it!!

Cheers

John
