Wanted, rear lights, even faded

That's right, I'm after a set of rear lights, can be as faded as you like, they must just NOT be broken...

I'll have a look when I go to my parents farm at the weekend, might not have a pair, but I'm sure one at least.

Yep, you're right. I think it's an interesting idea and I am prepared to support it - that's what being part of the community is about right? Doing your bit to enrich the knowledge and options?

Are you going to get a set of clusters and send them to him instead? If so, great - I don't need them then.

What's DBS doing? Ive got a couple but they have the usual chips on the edges and one has a 5mm hole in the reversing lense. Seems a shame to chuck em.

john , its for a rear lighting project where we will need most of the outer surround in one piece , as long as they are not too bad .

Hi Dave,

Ahh it's the edges that have cracked.....as per usual. I did have some plans to do a massive 160 LED replacement for the standard lights but it's one of those 'if I have the time' situations!

Would have been good though as I was going to wire it up so that if someone was tailgating me I could flick a switch that would illuminate 'wanker' along the LED's!!!

They had been siliconed in, all round and inside, I had to cut the metal away to get at the bottom of them, else they would break!

It s really good bodywork wise, just everything is bent after my sister drove it into a kerb!

(actually not her fault, some twat came round a bend on her side, and she swerved to avoid him, on leaves)

hmmm maybe, not sure if they're spare yet..
probably picking up ANOTHER 480 wednesday, making it 9 in the family! (kind of, ones just a shell and all but three of the others aren't much better!)
so might well do.

looks like I'll be running my own 480 scrapyard now!
I'll have a look at all the stuff I got hanging about, decide what I can spare and what I might need and make a list... eventually.
