Wanted: 480 5 Spoke

So I think I need a 5.5" Atlas alloy for my 1991 480 turbo.

Can anyone describe the differences between the Pollux and Atlas types? Are there any pictures on the web? - If I go to a scrappy I'd rather not come back with the wrong one!

I'm located in London (W5) if anyone has one they want to sell me.

Given the weather over the last couple of days I thought I'd have a lot of skidding, but bizzarly the 'iccle space saver wheel may actually be not that bad in the snow; it seems to dig through a bit more rather than just sitting on the top and skidding...

Pollux are 14", Atlas are 15" - 15" Atlas were the defacto wheel for the Turbo and Pollux were the defacto for everything else (of course always changable as an option)

Do they look the same, apart from the size, or are they also a different style?

They don't look that similar to be honest. In reality they look even more different than they do on these photos. I kind of like the look of the Pollux, don't really like the Atlas, yet Pollux are generally known as Bollux, and the Atlas are sought after... personal choice I guess...

Thanks for that, and I can confirm I need one of the rare and sought after types... Doh!

If I can't find one second hand, I guess I'll be ringing my local volvo dealer this weekend.
Are they avilable new from non volvo sources?

now i'm confuzzled,

My mate has just bought a 93 K plate 480 (paris blue) with wheels that look just like the atlas in the picture, except they are definitely only 14". Is this another type of wheel again, or were there options on the sizes too?
