breaking a 1994 2 ltr 480 es with towbar

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

Going to strip my door card off tomorrow and get the multimeter out!

Thanks, Ryan :D

Hey Jim,

How much for the front drivers (offside) wing? Could be my colour (save the respray option.)

Also looking for a rear nearside caliper and a passenger window mechanism.

Cheers

Stug same price as quoted before for the wing.

check your colour code it is on the data plate right in front of the radiator when you lift the bonnet.
right hand list 3 numbers with usually a hyphen and 1 or 2 numbers after it. Ignore the numbers after the hyphen.

passenger window regulator just been sold sorry :(

The caliper presents problems as I have a problem with one neighbour so I cant put the car on the road in front of my house so I have to use the driveway which is on a slope

so there are difficulties with jacxking up car etc.it limits the amount of stripping I can do to the car unfortunately.

Jim,

my colour code is 305, but I'm sure its a better match than paris blue

Shame about your neigbours intolerance of all things Volvo. I'd have you as a neighbour any day

Just pinch a 'for sale' sign and plant it in their front garden for a laugh!!

I'll pm you re details on picking up the wing next week.

No probs Stug . The official name is dark metallic grey it is black with a hint of purple ???? through it still close enough. You probably will still want to respray it so do you want me to get you a can of volvo paint No 305 from dingbro?

regards jim.

I suppose the tow bar is big and heavy - I am as far south as Scotland is north so spensive to post. However, I once sold a Maestro tow bar and it went to Scotland for £13 - it was fun handing it though the hatch at the local small post office.

Amazin
The seatbelt arms are only a convienence so that you dont have to swivel so far round to catch hold of the belt . That is assuming that you are using the back seats quite often for passengers. I drove a little 1.7 480 and it had no arms at all and it did not matter.

Oh and it should not count towards an MOT since it is not a structural part. ie you is up the creek without a paddle if you are depending on the arm in a collision.

you have a pm. :D
