FOR SALE - Breaking a 92 ES 90000 miles, 2 litre

Cleaned up the garage and found some parts you want to sell? Or are you looking for that one part? You can advertise or request just about anything that has to do with the Volvo 480 in here: brochures, towing-hooks, antenna's, etc etc...

FOR SALE - Breaking a 92 ES 90000 miles, 2 litre

Post by gingherheed » Wed Aug 13, 2008 2:27 pm

Reluctantly breaking a 480 in Southampton.

Engine in good order, 90000 on it and going strong. Offers.

4 new tyres- will accept £100 including the rims, all good condition.

Number plate ends in ROT, which is the German for red. Offers

Front and rear bumpers are in good condition. Happy to swap for early model black rubber bumpers if you are upgrading your 480.

Slight wear through in the usual place on drivers side. If you want all the seats, door cards and all matching trim you can have the lot for the first sensible offer. I really don't want a great deal of money for this lot!!

My aim is to strip it right down and scrap any remaining metal so even the chassis is for sale at less than scrap value if you want it.

Buyers collect any of the bigger parts. I can deliver free anywhere in Southampton. Smaller bits postage only (I never charge packing)

If you want pictures of anything you are seriously thinking of buying I will email. Alternatively you can come round to the worlds smallest scrappy and see for yourself.

I will only deal with members of this forum initially. If I get any decent sales I will make a donation to this club.

Cheers all.

How much do you want for the speedo?

Thanks

I had hoped to have had some interest in parts from this car. I can only assume that all the 480's in Hampshire are in good order and no one needs anything.

If it's a small part you want and it's easy to send I'll post stuff to people for postage only. I don't charge for packing.

Lots of bits will end up on ebay when I get round to it so heres achance to grab yourself a bargain beforehand.

I'm still very keen to talk to anyone in the area who has got a 480.

Cheers.

Pop up relay.

Post by gingherheed » Tue Aug 19, 2008 7:03 pm

Yep the popups work fine. No idea how much to charge so I'll try and find similar and let you know. Or you can make me an offer.

For small items I don't charge packing so postage will be at Royal mail rate for the service you require ie registered or just plain ole second class.

I only accept paypal payment so if we agree a price then I'll make a money request through your paypal or I'll list it as Buy it now on ebay with the total charge for the item including ebay fees if you prefer.

Cheers,

Yup. Choice of two as I have a box of other spares in my shed. I'd send you the best available!!

Make me an offer for that and anything else you need and I'll get it in the post.

I accept paypal payments and don't charge packing. Postage is RM standard rates for the service you require.

Ok?

Drivers door

Post by gingherheed » Tue Nov 11, 2008 5:28 pm

Drivers door is available as are all the associated bits. Motor and glass still on but the door trim is all off. I've still got it all I think. You'd have to have a look. I will remove the lock (presume you have a lock from the car you are fixing).

Door is sound, no dings or rust.

Where are you located?

Hi gingherheed
Thats good news...how much do you want for it?
I am located in Essex so will have to travel to collect it.
Can you leave the lock in the door for now as the old lock may be broken?
Cheers
