I really like the car, this is a very nice white color for the 480, but I'm afraid it's a b*tch to keep clean...

Wouldn't put a sticker like this on the side of mine, but then again if I bought one like this I'd probably leave it on :D

You can buy kits to make your car do that off ebay!

There was a recent report of a clapped out rustbucket escort that would only do 60 up a hill, but it was reported because it shot flames out of it's exhaust 6ft behind the car whenever someone tried to overtake - it had one of these stupid kits on too...

Back in the 1950's when I was in the RAF, we made a Mk.7 Jag. do that. I think it was by fitting a spark plug in the exhaust & powering it with a magneto, but the details are a bit hazy now.

Certainly in the Jolly Rogers Anarchists cookbook of old, they suggest mounting a sparkplug in the exhaust to cause a similar effect...

Well it finished at £770 - more than I'd pay for it as a second car (read: afford), but a bargain if I were looking to sell mine... On the face of it, someone got a good deal :)

I mailed the seller asking if the car was OK.

Missed this post, sorry.

Errm, well I'll have it on an Amiga floppy somewhere, but just google
for it, or search the Phrack archives :)
