Volvo 480 2.0 For Sale Bristol

Amazingly, I finally remembered my password to this site! I've already posted this on the Volvo Owner's Forum, but hopefully it will reach the right eyeballs here.

I find myself needing to sell my Volvo 480, and I thought I'd see if any dedicated Volvo fans were interested. It's a blue 1994 2.0L 480 ES.

I've owned it since 2019, but now need to move on as my girlfriend and I would like to share something more practical, and we don't have the space for two cars. I live in Bristol.

I'll go over some of the bad bits:
- The odometer/ milometer broke around 2019/2020 so the miles haven't changed since. The last recorded mileage is 90,108. I don't think I've done more than 2k miles per year as I don't commute by car
- Water can into the car from around the boot/ rear lights, which I think is quite a common problem with 480s. I use a car cover to keep it dry when it's not in the garage, and if wanted the cover will come with the car
- There's damage to the door bin on the drivers side, and so will need a new door card (please see attached photo)
- The drivers seat is worn (please see attached photo)
- The sun roof worked a few years ago, but then I didn't use it for a few years so I haven't been brave enough to try it

And some of the good bits:
- The speedo, rev counter, and information cluster work
- It's got an MOT until Jan 2026, so can be driven away
- It's had some welding done to get it through it's MOT, as well as the rear shocks and springs replaced
- I also recently replaced the starter motor
- The pop ups work
- The radio and auto extending antenna work. Funny story: I've driven it for seven years without knowing the code for the radio, but found it while I was organising the paper work. It's a bit sad really as the speakers are surprisingly good
- It definitely turns heads! According to howmanyleft there's only 23 of this model, and 127 total 480s driving around

I haven't been able to upload the photos to this post. The original high res exterior photos can be seen on this google photo album, as well as a short video of the car on the road.

I have a price in mind of around £2500, bud I'd be open sensible offers from enthusiasts.

Gamboge, there is a starting threshold of 10 posts for the ability to post links and pictures. I suspect using PMs may be the same, but this is a guess. Post a three more times and al should be well.
