Volvo 480 Club Europe

Hello,

My father in law has recently passed, and he had 4x Volvo 480s in a lock-up in North West England near Burnley, UK.

1x 1995 480 Celebration in Black / Dark Grey c.110k miles
1x 1993 480 SE in Green / Blue c. 120k miles
1 x 1995 480 Celebration in White c. 50k miles
1 x 1994 480 GT in Green c. 150k miles

None have been started for a few years but were all running as I understand it. MOTs were last done between 2012 and 2014.

They were intended as retirement projects but unfortunately my father in law didn’t get to work on them before he passed.

As James says, thank you for offering them here. Those are all rare cars, so your father in law certainly knew his 480s. I wonder if he was one of our members ?
I maintain registers for all of those models, so I would very much appreciate further details and will send you a pm regarding that.
We will be anxious to know if they are all successfully re-homed and put back on the road so please do keep us posted. We have a rescue group, currently with as many 480s as we can take, but I'd like to think we could help if it got to the point where any of them was threatened with being scrapped.

could you provide any photo's of the cars to show overall general condition and a guide on pricing if possible? it may help us help you to track down a new home, your father in law sounds like most of us on here, you don't often just own one 480....!

1994 Green GT reg M108MSH failed its lat MOT 6th Nov 2012 on 151,089 miles.
Seems to have already been sold on.
1995 Storm Grey Celebration reg N550EBW passed its last MOT 25th Jan 2013 on 102,966 miles.
Not added any miles since then.
1993 Two Tone reg K532TBJ passed its last MOT 17th May 2012 on 115,707 miles.
Don't know if its added any miles since.
1995 White Celebration 049/480 reg J12SPH passed its last MOT 1st of March 2012 on 41,141 miles.
Now on 43105 miles.
