Ohhh Boy, here we go again...

Cleaned up the garage, found parts laying around, but it turned out to be a complete Volvo 480? If you want to sell your car (480 only) you can place an advert here.

I have invented a new drinking game. Shot of Dutch Gin for every dodgy thing about the car or advert. See if you are still standing in 15 minutes time

That white stripe has to be worth a few grand.

It is nice but I’d say £5k nice. If someone is willing to pay though…

Any guesses on what the red switches are on the driver’s seat? Aftermarket heating elements.

Pure sarcasm

I think the red buttons are to do with the extremely rare and little known Volvo Ejection Seat option - that's what makes the car worth so much money... ;)

I really like that.

Even the aftermarket injection graphic on the door is so period.

The rear lights are pin sharp - some of the best I have seen other than being brand new.

I love the Volvo "unleaded" diamond window sticker above the fuel filler. I remember these. My grandad's late 340 had one.

The only thing I cant fathom is the Ghia badge on the b-pillar! :D

Credit to the previous owner and the open market will decide the price so good luck to "MK Motors".

that's steep
is it really 13k miles or a new odometer?
why hide the number plate, if number plate was visible then could track the miles?
FULL leather seats though, might have had every option ticked?

Any guesses on what the red switches are on the driver’s seat?
I think they are 2 over ride switches for the boot and fuel cap slides.
Think that because there is two buttons and the two cables from them go to the slider box.
Cheers, Richard.

I once prided myself on being able to find out any cars history, but I don't seem to be able to work it out this time.
See the reg being covered over as a challenge, which is one of my favourite pass times.
Then again less so these days due to owning me own car.
Usually zooming in on a car dealers paper tag on the keys or some old road tax in the front window tells you the Reg of the car.

At first I thought it was a Japanese import as its Hill Farm selling it and its only done 13k miles.
Don't know the 480 enough to know if the clock is in KM or miles.
Maybe it had a conversion when it came over to the UK by the first owner and then sold on to someone they know at Hill Farm.

But then I spotted the 'Pilling' sticker over the Volvo badge on the back, which I think is the key to cracking this one.
A quick web search shows that there was once a Pilling Volvo dealership. . . .

Cheers, Richard.

faults so far:
White pinstripe on black bumper
Centre console (Phone kit removed)
Leather (may be an option in that year I believe, but then doesn’t exactly look like 13k miles leather)
White dots on steering wheels
Ejector seat buttons
Aftermarket sunroof
Dubious "injection" stickers
Ford Ghia Badge(?) On B poillar
More Dubious Stickers on rear Hatch
Black Stonechipped Sills aka the tide mark….

My guess is it’s been dragged out of a hibernated garage (tax disk says 09?) given the absolute bare minimum in terms of recomission, the maximum in presentation and is now at stupid money.
