480's for sale at the moment.

Cleaned up the garage, found parts laying around, but it turned out to be a complete Volvo 480? If you want to sell your car (480 only) you can place an advert here.

Spotted so far today 16-2-22 six 480's for sale on Facebook market place :
https://en-gb.facebook.com/marketplace/ ... 0480%20car
Don't know if they are like lots of other sites slow to remove them after a sale.
Cheers, Richard.

Also on Facebook Market place are some as new Volvo sales brochures :
https://en-gb.facebook.com/marketplace/ ... _type=post
Look untouched and a bargain as I think its five of them for only 7 pounds.
Do you think they are 1992 or 1993 ?
Collection only from Redditch.
Cheers, Richard.

'ow do ? 19th Feb 2022 a new 480 ad on carandclassic :
https://www.carandclassic.com/car/C1426109
Located Bury st edmunds Suffolk.
I don't have any skills to say if its worth the asking price of just under six thousand pounds, but it does look smart.
It's not a 1998 year car as production ended in 1995. Not sure why it states 1998.
They do mean 1988 as it was registed 21 November 1988.
One of the pictures shows the really low milage at 17,874 miles, not the typo of 'only 170000 miles' stated in the text.
Long Mot until 28 September 2022,
Cheers, Richard.

It does look lovely,
Cheers, Richard.

It says ‘one off’ in the title. What makes it a one off? Looks like a normal ES to me.

Maybe you could do a mod to a cup holder thingy from a different Volvo car and make it fit ?
Cheers, Richard.

It is, just V low miles, this was the car that the vehicle inspector quoted when he valued mine at £3750 :D

Blimey this looks a clean one:
https://auctions.assetrealisationservic ... VE-ON-LINE
Looks nice :D One of the best colours, too.

Easy to spot the faults with it but bodywork looks sound from the photos/video. Haven't checked its MOT history.

Asset realisation auction, so they'll just be looking to sell for as much as they can get - depending on the knowhow of those bidding, it might end up being a real bargain for someone.

I would hazard a guess that that mileage isn’t correct with a drivers seat like that...

I dunno, Mine has only 9k more miles than that one and my driver's bolster is I'm pretty similar condition to that one.

Seems the millage is correct at 64,824 miles, which means its not even driven a mile since
passing its last MOT on 26 June 2019 but with following Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
Offside Front Lower Suspension arm corroded but not seriously weakened (5.3.3 (b) (i))
Offside Front Service brake binding but not excessively (1.2.1 (f))
Offside Front Brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material (1.1.11 (c))
Offside Front Coil spring corroded (5.3.1 (b) (i))
Front Brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened (1.1.14 (a) (ii))
So as its last MOT expired on 25 December 2020 it will need trailing away.
Cheers, Richard.

You have to register to take part in the auction including registering a debit card ( not a credit card ) for a refundable 250 pound deposit, which is needed so you can take part in the auction on the 20th of March.

Excluding the 2019 MOT advisories and drivers seat condition looks a smart 480.

6000 is a lot of money for a car with bumper scratches, broken front splitter and cheap nasty 90s aftermarket wheels. Would have to be absolutely mint for that price. Even then it’s just a standard ES and not a Turbo or one of the rare editions…

I know that's what they look like, but believe it or not they are genuine Volvo - 14" Antares wheels.

Horrible, aren't they?

As against that money, R6 on here is an absolute snip!!
