GT in Bolton
On eBay with some kind of a reserve, but apparently from a dealer who is also chucking in a load of spares.
No MOT, rough back end bodywork, uncertain history (usual story of odometer stoppage). Intact and worth preserving though
Not for the faint hearted I guess!

Rescue 4 ?
Re: GT in Bolton
Deffo a brave one.
No interior shots and I get image why it needed masking tape to hold the rear bumper in place....

Re: GT in Bolton
Hmmm...saveable but those rear arches look pretty well gone.
It's a GT so by definition that makes it rare (although between us we do seem to have quite a few of them still ).
I think a lot would depend on how good the interior still is, because sourcing a replacement GT interior would be hard methinks, and if you put something else in it then you defeat the whole point of saving a GT.

Re: GT in Bolton
There are some pics of the interior on the eBay listing. Difficult to see dates kind of condition it is in, but given the csr has done north of 120k (when the odometer stopped) id wager it is somewhat tired. Will keep an eye on how the auction goes. Happy to pop over to Bolton to make a more personal assessment, if anyone is seriously considering this.

The interior looks in remarkable condition. However, my gut feel is that it won't hit it's reserve

If it's worth the bazzillion pounds he thinks it is, surely he'd be restoring it eh?Also eBay Dreamer wrote:Vehicle still runs, although now has a missfire

Re: GT in Bolton
Your gut feeling was spot on Jeff - £375 didn't meet the reserve
