Interesting seats - that's the late fabric but on early seats without the rear headrests. Must have been an interim thing.

Re: White Auto on C&C auctions
I thought it looked a bit damp, with the instrument binnacle all steamed up - then I saw the photo with the paddling pool installed in the footwell
What a shame!
Excellent range of good clear photos on the C&C website - they haven't shirked the challenge there, to be fair.
I do hope it goes to a nice home, and doesn't get overlooked. It looks in reasonable bodily order, at least, and with that low mileage and service history it should have some life left in it for someone...

The wheel arches look surprisingly tidy, everything else, not so much. Given this is a Phase 1 car with CEM-01, you can expect MANY electrical problems with that amount of moisture in the car.
It's a good starter for a project though, if you can get those replacement rear light cluster covers from France and plan a trip to Orlando, the 480 breaker in The Netherlands.

I've gave up counting faults.... Still, it's more saveable than the legendary Ebay one!
I'm tempted to save all the pictures - They'd serve well in a training routine of "fault spotting" in a potential purchase!

Oh my, the poor thing!
I'm used to seeing rust stains coming out of most 480 orifices... but never the driver's headrest... that's a new one on me!
What heartless soul installed that ugly isolator in the oddments bin?
Joking aside, it looks very original and even has its undertray
Sadly, if condensated instruments aren't an alarm bell, I don't know what is.
One for the brave!

Re: White Auto on C&C auctions
It's the main reason 480's have electronic gremlins. Moisture creeps into the cable connections, or in case of an early car, the CEM, and causes corrosion. Early CEM (before 1991) had connectors on top with wiring to the side repeaters in the front wings, allowing water to seep into the enclosure. CEM-III from 1991 onwards both had no connectors on top and enough ventilation to allow the moisture out.
It's also the reason why I am spending 60 quid a month on an underground parking space...

I recall just chopping the bottom corner of the outer plastic casing on my first E plate, that let the water out pretty quickly..... (as in one imperial inch)
