Celeb\ES

Cleaned up the garage, found parts laying around, but it turned out to be a complete Volvo 480? If you want to sell your car (480 only) you can place an advert here.

Celeb\ES

There is a very nice wedge coming up for sale at Brightwells auctions. The strange thing is it has a celebration plaque but the rear hatch is badged as an ES?

Could be any combination of things Norm - an ES been fitted with a Celebration interior, a Celebration with a replacement rear hatch, a Celebration with a replacement badge.

We had this discussion about the rear badge on a Celebration up for sale a few months back IIRC...

Found here.

The VIN is on the website; XLBFC313FSC593679... be interesting if this falls neatly within the Celebration database.

Much YouTubeness

Looks really nice to be fair!

It is registered as a celeb.

Yeah, I'd say replacement tailgate as best guess....or 'it's all we've got left, lads' in Born!

The nice thing is it has been in almost continuous use.

Be interesting to see what it brings with that estimate, eh.

All them lovely valet lines, Jeff and they put them mucky, ill fitting mats back in!

Yes, this one is on the Celebration register - I checked with DVLA and it is definitely a Celeb so it's just a replacement hatch. It came up for sale in April last year with an asking price of £10k. It's still one owner from new so obviously didn't sell.

That must be near record price for a wedge at auction?
