Noticed a rather sad looking Volvo 480 Celeberation, lots of paperwork, but the pictures and description tell more than I can.

Looks like a load of easy jobs apart from the rust. I feel sorry for them having to get rid of it due to ULEZ.

it'll be a few years yet before it is exempt, Ironic when an Allegro makes more sense in London than a ford focus.

White has to be one of the best Celeb colours (granted there weren't many), is this Satin white?

Jeff and I have been looking at this one, wondering if it might end up as a rescue. Long list of 'to do' items, but all fairly easy stuff for anyone who knows them. Pity the owner didn't join and get some help on here. It's not going to help sell the car to anyone who doesn't know them.

I agree - barring the rust, which might be minor or major but you'd only know on inspection, all the other things are likely to be easy fixes: speedo PCB joints and cog, rear hatch wiring, and so on. Especially if we were looking at it on the basis that 312 could provide some bits (like a better driver's seat, for example).

Quite expensive for what it is though - generally shabby (ok, a good session at the Pamper Parlour would solve that  ), missing the front splitter (£ to replace) and fairly high mileage (not necessarily a problem but emphasises the need for an extensive service (again, £))...I guess that's the "Celebration premium" kicking in

And yes, Ben, it'll be 239 Satin white.
