Aye picking it up on Friday then driving to greenock to rejoin the boat for another 3 weeks then off for 6 weeks . Yip it's a good drive up north.

So picked up the 480 t on Friday evening, then drove upto greenock from Luton through the night..brought back some great memories . Car drove ok but when stuck in traffic temp starts climbing quite quickly and no fan kicking in.also think it might need a gearbox mount to. Car defo didn't look like it does in picks and ebay add..rear lenses are shagged but looked OK in pic cause it was wet. Little bit of rust at top of both rear arches but not bad.engine is strong and pulls like a train.79120 mls on it when picked it up. Happy though

How do you mean the gearbox mounts might need doing? mine is on 78500 and I recently felt that the gears might not be as slick as I thought they used to be...

Idk just seems to be a bit of movement on the gearstick when on and off the throttle. It might be something else though I ain't no mechanic

Oh yeah I get that, I think it may be normal

Any ideas on where to get decent timing belt and water pump kit ?

Gates for the timing belt kit: part number K015130XS

Valeo for the water pump: part number 506019

I'm not far away from you, about 45 mins from the Skye bridge. If you need a hand with anything give me a shout

Scottish meet sounds good.still working don't get off shift until 21st , then up the road to do some work on the 480 timing belt, water pump ,sort fuel smell out , and think couple bushes or summit. Not sure until I get a proper poke and a prod
