Early car in a bush

Cleaned up the garage, found parts laying around, but it turned out to be a complete Volvo 480? If you want to sell your car (480 only) you can place an advert here.

Why is it always the early ones that end up in fields at the moment, and also, any news on R3?

R3 not collected yet, R2 is still in the way at the 480 Sanctuary! No V5 yet - the plan is to drive it up to Yorkshire when it goes to dc's 480 Pamper Parlour so we'll need to have it road-legal. Fingers crossed we don't have to resort to another trailer hire.

Love the idea that I am running a "480 Pamper Parlour" Mind you, most of my friends and neighbours would probably agree with you... ;)

The idea is that R2 will be in fine fettle once Jeff's done, and then beautiful by the time I have spent a few hours on her - time will tell!

As for cars in bushes, you're right in identifying that as a current trend  I keep waiting for my original problem-laden 1988 model to emerge from under a hedge somewhere...the sad thing is that I know the wish to take her back into my pamper parlour would instantly over-rule the voice in my head saying "remember, you parted with this car years ago for very good reasons". Hmm...

Just seen this thread and (foolish or not is yet to be fully determined) I've taken this one on to save! The 'scrap or restore?' thread is mine.... Says a lot about the true state of this one when I got it!

I even bought it blind... Foolish is in the lead at the moment...

I've got 9,999 problems, and no. 480 is my car
