Which washer jets did you go for?
This was what I did a few years back, the LR ones look ok but have a longer thread and a small nut to do up.

Review of the short landrover screen washer jet. They seemed ok but are too low, when I tried to adjust the jets it either went over the roof or bottom of the screen, conclusion was that I needed a taller jet like the originals. I picked up a pair of the brass jets which are almost exactly the same size.

The bottom clears the wipers although I had to removed the wiper linkage to get the drivers side fitted, which of course meant a sheared bolt. I managed to drill and thread it though.
They brass jets hit the middle of the screen without needing adjusted. I am glad I ordered them as the drivers side was on its last legs.
