Blue ES on eBay

Cleaned up the garage, found parts laying around, but it turned out to be a complete Volvo 480? If you want to sell your car (480 only) you can place an advert here.

Blue ES on eBay

Post by zapcity » Fri Apr 19, 2019 9:25 pm

Hi all,

There is a blue 480 ES on eBay which i'm thinking of bidding on - K502 BWL

Item no. 264284863037

Mrs has always wanted this colour, so looks a nice example.

Anyone know anything about it?

Any input would be appreciated. Body and interior looks very tidy. Engine a bit messy but nothing to dramatic.

Cheers.
1994 480GT - arrived!!
XC60 and XC70 for the daily grind.
C70 Coupé Convertible for the sunny days. Should sell it but can't!

Don’t know the car, but like I said on Facebook, steering wheel and bootliner are desirable extras...

Definitely see it before bidding as I suspect there’s a high reserve; seems a trend at the moment

Would like to take a look but too far away before auction ends.

Wish I had enquired about the E reg ES barn find in silver. Sold now but at least it's being restored.

I was going to go view that one, a stones throw from me, but it was gone when I messaged the seller - it was in the colour I always wanted. I wonder who ended up with it?

There's been a surge of good 480's making strong money.... which is starting to bring a lot of projects out of barns.

but I can not imagine a 480 ever reaching Capri price level, which I am happy about, for me the 480 symbolises the fact that you don't need to fork out megabucks for a great car, I hope it can stay that way

I'd agree. The 480 is still fantastic value.

Everything 80s and now 90s seems to have gone through the roof recently, especially if it has a blue oval, so maybe the 480 is starting to move up.

I did forget to mention that it is a great car one can use everyday as well, so much more soul than a modern finance-deal-mobile
