95 ES on Fleabay

Cleaned up the garage, found parts laying around, but it turned out to be a complete Volvo 480? If you want to sell your car (480 only) you can place an advert here.

 - and he provides so much detailed information and so many good photos, who wouldn't want to snap it up at that bargain price? After all, who'd want the good example that that sum is getting these days...

Or perhaps that's the price for the barn that he found ;) ?

It might be a good car, but without a lot more effort on the seller's part we (or certainly, I) will never know!

I made an enquiry & was told it had been bought a week ago, had two areas of rust, had started after the fuel pump was replaced and that was it (other than I should make an offer).

Seems like another chancer who doesn't appreciate the economic paradox that 480 values / rarity appears to pose.. Still, I can't see there being a long queue at anywhere near £2495

There is another beauty out there though, at a much more realistic price of £3495 - near me in Lancs too https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-480GT- ... :rk:1:pf:1

That GT does look good and may well be worth the money...

I notice this evening that the ES this post is about now has a BIN of £1,500 - potentially a viable price depending on condition, but what you were told Martin doesn't do anything to encourage me that the seller really wants to share many details...

Anyway, having just bought another one I get told off if I get caught even looking at another one!!
