Hey guys,

It’s with great displeasure I must mention that my car is on eBay, I couldn’t just list it on there and leave out this amazing place.

Long story short she’s on there as I’m struggling for storage at the moment, it pains me to see her on there though, I’m not happy about it. I will try and see if I can come up with some emergency accommodation or something before the end of the auction if I can;if not she will have to go, I would hate to see her broken up or run into the ground or something.

Here’s the link if anyone is interested https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192616074981

But I guess we’ll see what happens

Thanks everyone

And another one... :(

I don't come on here for a while and everyone's bailing out!!

Fun starting price of £480 but I trust you are after a little more than that?

Best of luck anyway

David

Yes, this is also sad news. You've done so much‎ so it must be a wrench to have to sell it for lack of storage.

Good luck with the sale or storage hunt.

I would hope to get more than £480 for her, she’s solid and she’s had a lot of time and money invested in her, I would like to at least get part of that back as some kind of consolidation, I actually paid more for her originally in the very poor state she was in. It just worries me she will go cheap and a non-enthusiast will buy it as a “cheap daily” and run her into the ground or something. :(

Yes, unfortunately, it is a horrible feeling, I have done so much and I really wanted to see this through to the end, I am so close as well :(
I hope I can find some storage! :(

Does your local council rent garages?

Well good news and bad news on this Celebration.

Sold for the appalling price of just £670!

I guess most people want finished cars, and maybe 480 popularity isn't what we thought it was.

Good news is that my mate Rod bought it. Sylvia met Rod earlier this summer, and he already has a 480 celeb auto in red as his daily driver. I do mean daily driver. He uses it everyday. This is why he bought another celeb.

He intends to keep his current 480 as his 'best' car, and use no.89 as his new daily driver.

So it will be in good hands as Rod will look after it. Maybe now he will sell me his TR7 convertible!

Will get some pictures posted asap.
