In theory yours can be refurbished. Brinkie told me but I don't have any more details! Maybe he'll help out with a part number.
I think the parts catalogue has this down for your car as 3467416 but I find it confusing (look at Group 38, Page 339) so can't say for sure.
When mine broke the story was slightly different as the B18E runs at a different pressure. I think every other 480 has the same pump after that engine
What I did was take the pump out and read the Bosch part number off it. Then I could get it from a local motor factor. I used MPD (Motor Parts direct) who I think are nationwide.
My point is, that the fuel pump is nothing special once you take the Volvo number off it and you will be able to find the original Bosch replacement or an equivalent. I wouldn't waste a penny on a second hand one.
The pump lives in the level sensor housing in the fuel tank, accessed between the rear seats. Be careful taking it out incase you damage the arm. It just requires careful manoeuvring. Make sure you have the in tank filter bag on the bottom of the pump when you reinstall your new one.
These guys seem to sell an equivalent for £50 but I couldn't vouch for its compatibility: https://www.fuelpumpsonline.co.uk/fuel- ... 5035-p.asp.
Eurocarparts seeme to think the can provide one for £97.
Make sure the electrical connector on your car and the replacement are the same if you can!

Re: Wanted: Petrol pump for 1995 2l
It's the same pump as many contemporary Volvo's (400, 900/S90/V90 classic, 850/S70/V70 classic) so availability is not a big issue. There are two types of pumps, one for the 48 litre and one for the 60 litre tank (1991 and later cars). Yours has a 60 litre tank, so you want to look for this:
