Sad that you have to part from this car Martin, now you've put so much effort in it to get it on the road! Sadder even that there are so few of these cars left in the UK, while it has been the best selling country for the 480.

Looks good Martin would love to buy it but missus would probably murder me.have owned three in past and only sold last one in sept to enable purchase of legacy outback h6 estate,but am seriously tempted to make an offer and hang the consequences, I have had repairs done by Brinkie so I know speedo and info etc should be fine as he is a magician

Sounds wise, I've had little interest trying to shift my old car at this time of year. People don't generally have a grand kicking around to splurge on something fun for themselves at this time of year sadly.

Meanwhile, you can sort out the optical issues, which makes your car even more attractive when selling it in springtime.
New windscreen is available even in the UK, new DRL lenses (not the entire unit, just the part in front of the DRL/parking light) are being re-made for € 75 a pair. Last but not least, I would try and locate correct hub caps for the Pollux wheels, there seems to be a Taurus hub cap on the front wheel which in turn you can sell for a tenner. Pollux rims are so common in my part of the world that they are virtually thrown at you, everybody wants the bigger 15" rims.
With these issues sorted out, people will have a much better first impression and it will sell for much higher than it would now.
