Hi Guys,

I’m looking to sell ‘Whitney’, my 1995 N-reg 480 Celebration 2.0L petrol. Primarily looking to sell as it is not getting enough use (I don’t drive to work) and we have several other vehicles. Having said that, I will miss its comfort & reliability. I’ve owned this 480 since March 2013, the previous owner being another 480 club Europe member, during that time it has taken me all over Scotland and the UK and has never let me down.

Various preventative maintenance operations have been carried out by me:
-summer 2013: Water pump+all belts, new ignition components (HT leads, distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs), air filter.
-September 2014: New exhaust from cat back.
-Twice-yearly oil + filter changes, the most recent being December 2015.
-Large folder full of history spanning the cars entire lifetime.

Good/bad points:
-86,430 miles
-speedo & Infocentre working.
-All electronics working as they should.
-MOT to 23/4/16. Only 3000miles since previous MOT, which had 2 advisories: Nearside Front Brake pipe slightly corroded (3.6.B.2c), Nearside Inner Front Lower Suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement (2.4.G.2). No reason to expect it would not pass its next MOT with little/no work.
-Drives very nicely.
-Rear lights good: no cracks/chips, little/no fading (see picture).
-No leaks
-pop-ups working fine
-front spoiler present
-all ‘Celebration’ equipment present & correct.
-interior in great condition (including drivers seat bolster) except for usual chip to top left corner of dashboard surround (see picture), I still have the piece of plastic which came off.
-Rust: very slight bubbling to passenger side rear wheel arch & passenger side door bottom. Bubbling to drivers door bottom. Rust to drivers rear wheel arch, worse than passenger side, no metal missing but would need tidying up if keeping long-term.

In summary, ‘Whitney’ is an above average example of the 480 and in good useable condition. As such I’m looking for offers around £900. If she doesn’t sell then I’ll be happy to keep her.
PM me with questions or for phone number/email.

Pictures to follow when photobucket behaves itself!

Now sold to an enthusiast from this parish who will hopefully look after her!
