Time has come to say farewell after nearly 4 years.

MOT runs out on 26th October.

Tax runs out end February 2012

List of items on MOT failure certificate which was issued on 05 October :-

Offside Headlamp not working on dipped beam ( works OK when glass is tapped !!)

Rear Fog Light lamp not working (bulb ?)

Rear Fog Lamp insecure

Exhaust has major leak ( I have a spare system from cat back which was recovered from my spares car (patch repair on rear box but looks solid)

Holes in floor O/S . Seat belt anchorage prescribed area is excessively corroded.

Fuel System Component insecure ?

Emisssions not tested

Parking Brake lever has no reserve travel (just needs adjusting as new cable fitted at last MOT

Advisories :- General corrosion on underside of car and Gearbox oil leak (end plate)

Road Tax to end February and 130 miles fuel remaining on display. Mileage approximately 62000 (speedo sensor is intermittent but less than 1000 miles driven since last mot which showed the mileage as 61879. Very good engine /Gearbox. Drives well.

4 good tyres

very good leather and interior, frilling of lower rear arches - OK higher up

Drive away for £280 (including 4 months on Tax disc)

Original Phillips Radio, 3 Auxiliary gauges (without sensors), rear roller cover ( clip on one included) and Front Splitter not included.

Spare car also available:- not driveable White Celeb 1995, very good interior, body good with the exception of frilling at rear arches, 4 good tyres.

Front bumper, crank position sensor, distributor cap, rear wiper motor, exhaust,O/S front indicator lense, radio and aeriel all removed. Otherwise complete car.

Both cars available for for £400.

Just some questions on behalf of forum members;-

can the car be driven away okay as most people are likely to come a distance (ie is exhaust not too noisy )

the tow bar on the back comes with the main car ?

The main car can be driven, the exhaust is not too noisy.

Not sure how much gearbox oil has leaked, may require top up for longer journey.

The tow bar will stay with the car.

Just to clarify my original post:- price does not include the auxiliary dials, front splitter or radio.

I will include the spare exhaust system ( recovered from spare car)and clip on boot cover.

The pictures show a set of Volvo plastic floor mats which will also stay with the car.

Hi Murf,

See the lower half of the first post for details of what is missing.

Add the following which were removed last week-end :- Seat belt arms, sun visor, numberplate lights, rear bulb.
