Posting this here initially to see what sort of interest there is.

1994 480 turbo for sale, in need of a bit of bodywork. Includes lots of interesting bits and pieces.
92k miles t&t

Got High Flow fuel pump, Walbro 255
FSE Boost Valve Fuel Pressure regulator
Forge Recirc Valve, manual boost valve & replaced actuator.
Cat back twin exit stainless exhaust system.
All vaccum lines replaced.

Also, not yet fitted; B18E Cam, bigger injectors and T25 turbo (although cracked round wastegate.) Boost gauge. New battery
Engine bay has also been stripped back to bare cleaned and painted.

Recent suspension: Lower arm bushes and ball joints, track rod ends, anti roll bar links all round, shocks and lowering springs 40mm & one wheel bearing.
Discs and pads all round, new handbrake cables. Calipers all stripped and cleaned. I have most of the rear axle bushes still to fit.
Pretty unique alloys TSWs no longer made. My brother in law works in the machine shop at RAF Leuchars, I got him to make a set of custom Hubcentric wheel spacers up for me, 10mm per wheel, military aircraft grade alloy ( pretty cool ) and swapped to a studs and bolts so much easier getting wheels on and off.

It was at one point flooded in an underground carpark hence the engine bay strip, that was two years ago and i've been using it daily since. I stripped the interior to bare, had to ditch the seats so currently it has only driver & passenger aftermarket bucket seats, built on custom mounts. carpets and all panels were all hosed, cleaned &shampooed.

Now the bodywork: Car is totally solid except for one ragged rear arch ( as they do but I have welded in all new metal, reconstructed from a front wing. Other side had a carpark ding which I pulled out and refilled. Also removed the pointless rear corner reflectors and the electric aerial which had failed and welded in new metal, filled finished and primed but that was as far as I got before change in job stopped my progress. Over the winter I came out one day to find score down the passenger side and the good arch dented.

In summary a bit of dent pulling some filler and a spray job and it will be good as new. Or take it away and use the useful stuff.

Planned on saving and getting the bodywork done, garrett T28 & megasquirt but my ulitmate aim was to stick a S40 T4 engine in the back and turn it mid engined RWD but working 6 day weeks now and losing my workshop space.
It drives tight as, I work as a new car salesman, driving delivery mileage cars every day and still this puts a smile on my face on the drive home.

So what would it be worth? Offers? bought it for 650

Hey, I just wanted to see what people might offer.
Just had an offer of a pretty spec'd 1.8 16V Clio F7P engine to stick in. Might just do that and paint it myself.

Some pics of the car. Definately getting rid of. If not interested in whole car would anyone be interested in pieces.
Got B18F cam, 240cc injectors, green LED boost gauge, manual boost controller.

Car also has certificated THATCHAM CAT 1 Toad Alam/Immobiliser and recent thermostat. Also the daft rear side reflectors have been removed and new metal welded in and smoothed.

Cheers

Craig

Neighbours nearly died of shock when they woke up one morning and there were 5 480's outside .

No joke some of them must have got a bit irked  (neighbours that is  )

2 on my path/driveway 2 on the road outside the house and one round the corner parked on the street.

Son bought the car and I have got a tuned mod from Robou . Rebuilt the interior back seats in grey/black leather. Mot'd it just waiting to get the body resprayed and then will seal the back lights. Did a little to the body but not much. The car is rock solid and a dream to drive. ;)

But have slimmed down to only two cars now and wont be breaking any more for quite a while (lets the neighbours cool down a bit ) and I am fed up of working on 480's and not being able to move in my garage. Still have a pile of spare stuff I am going to dump in the local civic amenity site. Then we wont be lowering the tone of the neighbourhood.
