480 turbo near Glasgow...rich mod

Hi folks. The time has come for change so I'm selling my much loved 480 turbo. I've had the car for about 2 years and has never skipped a beat. The car used to belong to piper 1st and hear is a link to when he was selling it!

Car is still in pretty good condition. one of the rear arches is primed ready to be painted but hoping to get round to that some point soon. mechanically its sound and has been used daily in the time I've had it. It has the better quality audi recirc valve and a blue label rich mod. I'll try and get some pics of her up soon. There is at least 10 months mot but tax has expired.

Yeah she's still for sale. Been busy with work and the snow here in wishaw is a nightmare.

I'll get some pics up as soon as the weather gets a bit better.

Any sensible offer wont be refused. Just got another car so need the space.

Replaced her with ( I'll await the abuse ) a very highly tuned v1 wrx. Always wanted one to get it out of my system.

She still looks very very presentable. The only thing I really wanted to get round to doing was spraying that scabby rear arch but not had a chance yet due to all the snow.

In the time I bought her from my friend Simon she's had:-

New cat back exhaust
New rear caliper
New Audi bov
New plugs/ leads
Serviced at least twice by myself
Rich mod

Still drives great. Would love her to see a good home as with best intentions to keep her I know she'll just end up lying round my back.

Here we go. Please remember that it has been under a pile of snow for the last two weeks. tried to dry her off as much as possible.

I will try and get the arch sprayed if the weather heats up any. Pics make the job look a lot worse than it is. It filled to the exact level just needs keyed base coat and lacquered which I have a half a litre of both perfectly colour matched 2 pack paint. Just not had a minute to finish it off.

Hey guys, long time since iv posted, but im on the hunt again for a 480.

Has she got mot?
Im interested but am about 8hours away so cant just pop round to have a look.
also is the wheel arch just primed? the photos make it look like its been reshaped? but im assuming thats just light and angle?

Hi Ben,

Rachel from on here is coming to have a look at it. Still got long mot.

Managed to paint the rear arch so trying to get it lacquered today. Its the exact shape as it should be just dodgy camera work .

I'll get some pics up in a couple of days once I've got round to going over it with g3.

Here we go... please excuse the rest of the car as its still covered in g3 over spray and my pressure washer is frozen solid

Roads are still bad rachell Lot better than they have been mind you but lots of ice.









As you can see its not to bad a job at all for being done in a shed in winter . Sure it will look even better when I wash the full car and give her a wax!
