She HAS to go now! I sadly could do with the money, and my garage has no electrics so I will be doing her no favours letting her sit there for months on end with the inability to do any work to her!

I am offering it on here before I go to eBay as I would love her to go to a proper enthusiast, and maybe one day I could buy her back when I have a decent local garage!!

relisted due to some looser/geek of the nothing better to do than p*&Ã‚Â£ every-one-off-world who has cancelled my advert due to saying "open to offers"

i just copied and pasted the advert, so now I am down ANOTHER Ã‚Â£13 thansk v ery much yet again to the rubbish ebay who lets SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE USE THAT PHRASE AND THE ONE TIME I GENUINLY DONT REALISE IT THEY FREAKING GET ME!!!!

Bit confused Esta. Your listing says Paypal account required, but you won't take payment via Paypal. You might also run into problems saying you'll take Paypal if the buyer pays the fees, this is now against eBay rules.

Good luck with the sale, if I had the money I'd be very tempted.

A word of advice I learnt the hard way myself.

It's a waste of money having a BIN price, and a reserve.

A reserve bumps the listing price up by Ã‚Â£4. And you pay for a BIN but are you aware that as soon as anyone makes a bid, it will disappear?

The BIN is only there for someone to do an instant purchase before any bids are made.

The best way to do a car listing on eBay is to have no BIN and start the bidding at the lowest price you will accept for the car, with NO RESERVE.

This is at least the cheapest form of car listing. It's rather expensive at the end of the day.

If i wanted *min* 700 for a car i'd maybe BIN it at 750, and start price it at 675.

Then if you get the 675 bid, you don't care the bin has gone.

Now this is a good one, remember my LPG 440?

Start price 300, no reserve. BIN 350.

Someone bids 300....bin vanishes. Car eventually sells for 500. I laughed all the way to the bank.

i know the BIN disappears, but for the hell of it i thought i would put it there anyway, and for some reasonl when i checked earlier it had 2 bids and the bin was still there...

as for the reserve, yeh its Ã‚Â£4, i was a bit mift with the thought of removing the reserve, but then i thought, it could cost me a lot more with no reserve!! if the highest bid is Ã‚Â£400 i have lost over a grand!! and more in spares and servicing etc! Im not after a huge amount, but i want to be able to put what ever i get into reducing the monthly payment on the damn loan i had to get out to pay for her in the first place!!

@ GJ there was nothing i could do, it takes about 3 days for anyone at eBay to reply to any messages, so if it was not appearing there was sadly nothing that could be done!! this is all so frustrating!

@1900sr-i purposefully clicked OFF paypal and changed everything, but if yo usay it still says on paypal then again like with GJ there is nothing i can do! Ther are so many stupid things with eBay i cant change!!

its just so annoying they dont have a competitor, someone else who dares compete in the online acution sites, cos I would DEFINATELY try elsewhere, they are beginning to REALLY bug me!!

Forget ebay and stick it on the Autotrader site, should be cheaper and a lot less messers.

Woah woah woah stop chucking money away.

eBay is expensive for what it is and I got flukey when selling my 480. I see plenty of auctions that get put up repeatedly.

eBay have tightened their rules recently regarding "offers" and "I'll end it early for the right price" and all that sort of thing. It's an auction site, so you run an auction, no ending early or anything.

Autotrader, Ã‚Â£12 for 2 weeks. Can't put as much detail about it, but there's nothing stopping you putting the basics down and then creating a very simply webpage and uploading it to Photobucket and linking that or something!

Don't get stressed about it, you don't want to sell your beloved car in such a negative mindset.

You're less likely to be messed around on Autotrader, and, unlike some people who can be messed about and shrug it off, you're like me and get worked up about lost time and money. Autotrader is perfect for this scenario

Pistonheads is also another good website for selling cars - and completely free, too! I've sold a couple through there now, and bought a couple, too.

Have done piston heads! I generally think they are ok too!

as for ebay, if its removed one more time or doesnt meets its reserve then off to AT, didnt realise it was Ã‚Â£12 for two weeks, thats good! I just thought they only sell cars in regions and i want to get a wider market with a car like this.

anyway, after Ã‚Â£39 I WILL not be paying my ebay fees, i think they auto come out of my account, but i am going to see if their is a way i can block them! muhaha!

and sorry about the rant, i was so worked up last night about it all. what a compelte joke!!

yeh i know what the final vvalue fees are like! total joke, when they have already robbed you in the listing fee! I remember when I could list a car for Ã‚Â£8 and i thought it was fab cos you could have 12 photos and all this text and get an all over the UK viewers!! Now its a joke and they are robbing swines in my opinion! Its just a shame that its got to the point that they dont care cos they know we cant go elsewhere!!
