FOR SALE - 1994 480GT Flame Red - £400

Cleaned up the garage, found parts laying around, but it turned out to be a complete Volvo 480? If you want to sell your car (480 only) you can place an advert here.

FOR SALE - 1994 480GT Flame Red - £400

It looks like we're going to part with Jayne's GT, if anyone's interested.

The car is a good tidy example with some of the best arches I've seen on a 480, although it's lost it's front spoiler. Electrically everything works (I think), except the electric aerial. I've got a spare for it just never fitted it. It had a low mileage second hand engine fitted earlier this year, with new water pump, and cambelt and tensioners. It's tested while 22nd November and taxed until the end of October.

Now for the bad news, it's got oil in the coolant. There are no exhaust gasses in the coolant, and no water in the oil. I think it's a problem with the oil cooler. It's also got a bit of a blow from the manifold, and the handbrake doesn't work.

The car's located in Sutton Bridge (PE12 9YT), and we're looking for offers around £400. If interested call me (Steve) on 07986 971692

The engine had approx 80k on it (so, low for a 480), and has probably done about 6000 more since being fitted.

It does look like we'll be 480less, but like yourself we were tempted by another.

We've had an offer on the car, so subject to viewing it'll be going to a new loving owner. We may well regret selling the GT, but we decided we couldn't justify keeping it as a toy.

I've taken a deposit on it, so it looks like it. It's due to be collected next Tuesday.

Collected today, thanks to everyone who showed interest. A very sad day for Jayne.
