Dead 480

I have my 1993 480s auto with a dead engine full leather interior. Was running like a dream before the rubber belt broke. Wheels and tyres good but engine not so now. Did not use any oil or water before band went ping. If any one wants to come an take it away for parts any fair offer excepted. Will be very sad to see it go as i have waited so long for one, but the cost of repair is just too much.

Are you sure it's too costly to repair? I'm sure Salvo could sell you en entire replacement engine for not much - wouldn't take too long for a mechanic to put it in, maybe 500 for the entire lot? Is that too expensive? Might be less, I don't know... Be a shame to let your pride and joy die

at least try and sell the shell complete before tearing it apart...

im sure there are laods of 480s out there rusting away with good engines

dont worry, not a problem, these things happen. Looking for a home for her though if you have any ideas i am sure someone with more time and know how could love her or bits of her back to life. sorry for the delay in getting back to you but we have been on holiday.
