WANTED - Volvo 480

Cleaned up the garage, found parts laying around, but it turned out to be a complete Volvo 480? If you want to sell your car (480 only) you can place an advert here.

WANTED - Volvo 480

Post by pete » Wed Jul 12, 2006 7:30 pm

Hi there,

I am looking for my first 480, having always liked them.

Got around max £750 to spend and would prefer not to travel too far for the right motor.

Essential: Good runner with MOT
Desirable: Tax, history, sunroof, windows that work, alloys.

That said I am happy to do a bit of work. Auto or manual, dont mind. Turbo or non, dont mind (should I ??)
1.7 or 2.0 dunno, whats best?

thanks,

Pete

Hey Pete, welcome to the club! :-D

And yet another Edinburgh member!

Hope you find the right 480 for you soon.
I'd be very tempted by Murf's offer - I'd buy it myself for that price (even though it is white ;-)) ... if only had the money and space to store another one!

Cheers Rohan,

What a helpful bunch you dudes are!

OK I am interested, however I gotta shift my Discovery first. Here it is http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %3AIT&rd=1 if anyone fancies it.

I cant make the meet on Saturday as we are off down the Borders in the camper for the weekend, a sort of chill out before the Wickerman and Belladrum. So please pass this on to Murf.

I should get the Disco sold within the next week, and when I do I will go see this Celebration motor car, it sounds just perfect.

regards,

Pete
