OK - here are the details!
G Reg, Red, 167,000 miles. Tax end of Feb., MoT March 3rd.
Rear L caliper has a slight leak. Probably needs overhaul. Brakes OK but needs to be sorted.
Windscreen has crack - replacement required.
Driver's window cable broken - motor OK but cable wrapped around drum etc.
Reversing lights not working - suspect switch as rear wiper does not come on in reverse either!
Passenger door sagging a bit - needs new hinges.
May be leaking at rear - previous owner sealed lenses with silicon, but much has come away.
A little rust on driver's door.
4 good but cheap tyres, spare as new.
Unfortunately, I have had to get a more family friendly car, and do not have the space to keep the Volvo. Will accept £100 if it goes to a good home or is used to keep another on the road!

im looking for a cheap 480 and i dont think im gunna get much cheaper than this!!
wales is a long way to come from leighton buzzard, prolly 5 hrs or so...
will have a think, and a chat with mother to see if she will drive me, id only get lost tryin to get to wales!

I have some pics of the car if anyone is interested. We have an amnesty in the area for taking unwanted cars away, free, and if I can't sell it the 480 it will have to go for scrap.
