My 2.0L ES is now up for sale!

Cleaned up the garage, found parts laying around, but it turned out to be a complete Volvo 480? If you want to sell your car (480 only) you can place an advert here.

My 2.0L ES is now up for sale!

Post by snailslime » Sun May 21, 2006 2:30 pm

Hello all :D

I'm sorry to say that i have gone and done a very bad thing, i've bought a new car & it isn't a 480.
It's unforgivable i know, but the 480 is my 1st motor & i still have so many others to experience. So here it is for those who are interested, on autotrader --> http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/ca ... locale=STF

Also up for sale is my custom made parcel shelf. It is made from thick MDF and is covered with black ICE carpet (the thicker, more expensive sort). It has custom made speaker pods, also carpeted. All i'm asking is £80 including the JBL 6"x9"s which is just to cover what it cost me to make! for pics, here is the link --> http://volvo480.dragons.org.uk/forum/vi ... php?t=9823

Please PM me if you are interested.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say a massive thanks to all the other club members for all the help this forum has provided me. You truly are a great bunch, a bit weird some of you, but great all the same!

Sorry i didn't get the chance to make it to a meet with ya Dan & Steve, hope you get some more Norfolkers on 'ere in the future!

Cheers,
Snail

The supercharger is a bit out of my price range though Martin! & they are only available in auto unless they've been modified and they go for £3000 upwards!

But i will be quite very happy with my purchase though. It has a T-bar roof (woohoo!), Remote locking with alarm and leather seats :D

No their not, supercharged auto AW11's are actually much rarer than manual gearbox ones.
It just seems like theres always loads of auto's for sale cos no-one wants them!
Enjoy it, ive had 2 AW11's and there easily the best handling car ive ever driven! My mates just bought a supercharger, cant wait to get a go!!

It is indeed! most are rust free due to the mild climate in japan and have low mileages as well. Imports are highly reccomended by me :)

Looks really nice in pics - where's Norfolk?

Not really surprised that u dont know where Norfolk is!!!
It isn't exactly "The Land of Excitement"! Just fields mainly. And a few inbreds, particularly round my way

Here it is on a map! --> http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi? ... le=1000000

guiterfanatic is right of course - in an earlier life I did some sailing up at Snettisham and also visited a place called Swanton Morley.
I now see another motor for sale in Ispwich - is there an evil mist sweeping across the flatlands.

Steve and Snailus!Yo!

Yep Swanton Morley is another not so nice place in Norfolk, similar to where we live!It was home to an army base until about 20ish years back and is now a RAF base. So,home to a few knocked-up chavvy birds and many a fight on a Friday night! All in jest of course!

Snettisham is near Kings Quim!It has the excellent Kim Cairns Classic Cars outfit which has some really pristine cars to see,if you're ever that way people.

This reminds me,for some reason, that there are so many 480s going about in Norfolk.None of them bar Snail,Dan and occcasionally Steve Grundy, are members.Maybe doing some club europe grafitti along the A47 would be a surefire member booster!

That's a great idea mr groom!

But why stop there? why not hunt these other 480 drivers down and then follow them home!
Then we could pounce on them as they get out of their car, and pin them down on the ground and tell them all about 480 club europe!

I few more than 20ish, I was in a light blue suit when I went there in 87ish and very deferably well RAF. All computers and stuff.
I saw a Celebration for sale on autotrader but it was an auto so ...
Hopefully, tonight I am getting a black 2L with jaquard seats and a broken roller shelf.

That turbo in ipswich is mine ,, i have offered it enough times to forum members and no one replied , or they want it free , so e-bayed it , i guess its someones gain if they buy it , now its forum members loss unless some from here buys it from bay , or offers me enough to take it off
