WANTED: NICE CONDITON 480 NO ROT

Cleaned up the garage, found parts laying around, but it turned out to be a complete Volvo 480? If you want to sell your car (480 only) you can place an advert here.

Hello all,
I've a very good 480 in steel grey. However, I’m on the lookout for another. It must be VERY GOOD condition with solid sills and arches.

Thank you

Hello Sylvia,

I've sent you a PM too, as I'm still in the market for a good 480, after 3 or 4 years away from the fold.

All the best!

Hello Maxw303,

There is a very nice low mileage and apparently rust free Celebration on Gumtree - https://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-mot ... 1509166186 Very reasonably priced, give the recent respray, and work that has been done on the suspension and wishbones / control arms.

Might be worth a look - I'm thinking about it myself, but unable to get down to Redditch to see the car in person till late next week, when it might well be gone.. :(

Not going to lie, I've been watching this one on the quiet hoping nobody else had seen it

I've still never got over losing my Celeb and the itch never quite goes away

It's been listed a few times.
The pictures and description change with each listing, equally crap every time.
Looks tidy enough, but the wear on the driver's bolster and steering wheel look like they've done a fair bit more than 60-odd thousand miles.
My Celeb had done around 140k I think and the driver's seat was much tidier than that.

Add to that the egg boxes in the back and the fact it looks to be in the compound of a *Cough* traveller's site certainly makes me wonder if all is well.

That said though, the MOT history isn't bad at all.

I'm not in a position to buy yet anyway, but it's not stopped me keeping an eye out lol
(was hoping to have sold our house by now and I'd have sweet talked the wife into letting me have a toy)
"If you can't fix it with a hammer, it's an electrical fault!"
Hammers can't fix a 480!!!

I've just put my 480 up for sale. It fits your 'NO ROT' criterium so it may interest you.
