Well, looking at my calendar...

May: 10th, 12th, 13th, 16th, 17h, 19th, 24th, 26th, 27th

June: 2nd, 7th, 9th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 21st, 23rd, 24th, 27th, 28th, 30th

Could change, but i doubt they will... Any ideas on what we could do, or where we could go?

A weekend early in June???

Sorry Roo not ignoring what you posted matey,I just thought I'd try ans start somewhere!!!

I was going by some of Dan's dates as a starting pointus.

The only thought on meeting venue so far is Santon Downham near Thetford Forest or the Forest itself.Perhaps the area where live bands usually play???

What to do?Well I've no idea at all.Im thinking that there could be a car focused theme,such as maintenance or cleaning,electrics or summit.Y'know where we all learn and can fix our cars too???Parts to be bought/sold/exchanged....shrug!

The off to coast where theres no old Volvos nor oil slicks,nor even dead herons!

These ideas are as rough as the town I'm in so feel free to freestyle yer ideas all!

It's a tough one-it's not like there is anything to do down here, it's rubbish! Perhaps just arrange to meet somewhere and go from there?

Is there a swimming pool nearby?

Maybe just a meet and a spot of lunch somewhere-maybe at a local-ish pub or something with a nice scenic backround? Maybe as it's the first EA mini meet, just something a bit relaxed so we get to know eachother? Brings some tools (not sexual, they can come on the second meet

), and just see how it unfolds? Lame idea i know, but what can you do?

OK I invited Crispy-D from Ipswich (and Bristol!) to join us 3 soon.

I propose the 24th of this month daytime,say 10.30am if its OK for Oli and Crispin??

No,seriously,I do mean Thetford Forest.A nice part where pics would have a good backdrop.

However i am going to look at a new car this week and i may need next wed to go collect it!
And so, if everyone else would like to make the arrangements between themselves and just let me know where & when!

Hello Steve and others,

Sorry for the late reply, I have been desperately looking for my timetable which I had lost, and having found it it looks like I can't make it

Unfortunately, studying Mechanical Engineering means that I have TEN exams starting from the 23rd, believe it or not, whereas everyone else has them later!! My fault for being cheap and having a 460 I suppose.

Shame, cos Thetford would have been good, but alas I have to return to sunny Bristol to slog for 2 weeks solid. I had thought they were later, but I was a little wrong.

Sorry about that, although I do appreciate the invite!

Will have to look forward to the next one for now. Until then, have a good one, and watch out for the cottagers (I've heard stories...)!
